Charles Tobermann was a software engineer at Apple Computer’s Paris R&D center from 1991-1993. He wrote system software for telecommunications, specializing in error correction and data compression, that allowed PowerBook and Power Macintosh computers to connect to the Internet.

La Claie Productions provided software engineering and technical writing services to Apple Computer on a contract basis from 1994-1997.
